The
Penticton & District Society for Community Living
is a not-for-profit organization that provides services to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities and families with limited incomes. The organization was created in 1958 by a group of committed parents who wanted to ensure their children with disabilities received an education. Since its initial inception, the Society has evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of their consumers and the community.
PDSCL is well appointed to support people of all ages in need of a community home and assistance in their daily lives.
The Society believes that people with disabilities and economic disadvantages must enjoy the rights and responsibilities of all citizens. They can participate in decision-making in all aspects of their lives and can be fully included in their community.
